    Kapchorua Earnings Jump 422%, Williamson Narrows Loss in H1 2025

    Kapchorua Tea reported stronger H1 earnings with profit up 422 percent to KSh 95.2M as turnover fell 24 percent to KSh 829.9M. Williamson Tea cut its loss to KSh 10.1M from KSh 122.4M, with revenue down 14.8 percent to KSh 1.69B. Both tea giants faced weaker prices, high costs and lower demand. Kapchorua improved margins and cash, while Williamson narrowed losses but stayed negative.
