East African Breweries Limited (EABL) has re-appointed former CEO of KCB Group Mr Martin Oduor Otieno as a non-executive director, a position he held in 2013 before he quit to avoid conflict of interest following his appointment as a partner at Deloitte East Africa.
“The Board of EABL is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Oduor-Otieno as a non-executive director of the board effective May 24,” EABL chairman Charles Muchene said in a statement to shareholders.
Early this year, he left Deloitte for South Africa’s Standard Bank Group in the capacity of a non-executive director. Mr Martin holds an executive MBA and a bachelor of commerce degree from the Maastritch Business School and he is also a member of of Kenya Institute of Bankers and Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
