Global tech company, Zoho Corporation, has launched Ulaa Enterprise; an enterprise-grade version of its privacy-first browser, targeting modern workplaces with tight security and compliance needs.
- •The browser is designed to safeguard corporate data directly at the browser level, offering centralised policy management, data loss prevention (DLP), and real-time activity monitoring.
- •Ulaa Enterprise allows IT administrators to control access, limit downloads, manage extensions, and enforce user behavior rules without relying on third-party tools or virtual desktops.
- •Built on Chromium for familiarity, it integrates with all major platforms, including mobile devices and diverse software.
“The browser is now the primary workspace and also the most exposed attack surface in organisations. Yet, many solutions fail to combine robust security with simple usability. Ulaa Enterprise is our response to this challenge — empowering African businesses with a secure, easy-to-deploy, and policy-driven browser experience that protects both data and productivity,” said Veerakumar Natarajan, Country Head, Zoho Kenya.
The browser will also incorporate AI features, powered by Zoho’s assistant Zia, add intelligent phishing detection and content filtering. This is intended to improve both productivity and browsing safety. With a growing user base since the original Ulaa browser’s 2023 debut, the enterprise version is now available in Kenya starting at KSh 129 per device monthly.
The launch reinforces Zoho’s broader push into the African enterprise software market. The software company has over 100 million users worldwide.
