This week, Kenya’s Central Bank offered 182 day and 364 day Treasury Bills amounting to Ksh 12 Billion.
The total Number of bids received for the 182 day Day T-Bill was 150 amounting to Ksh 2.41 Billion against a target of 6 billion shillings, representing 59.82% undersubscription.
The total Number of bids received for the 364 day Day T-Bill was 82 amounting to Ksh 3.85 billion representing Ksh 35.84% undersubscription.
Bids accepted amounted to Ksh 1.94 billion for 182 days and Ksh 3.35 billion for 364 Day Treasury bills.
The weighted average rate of accepted bids is summarised below;
*182-day Treasury bill yield at 10.467 percent versus 10.475 percent last week
*364-day Treasury bill yield at 11.010 percent versus 11.024 percent last week
