The Weighted average yield on the 364-day bill rose to 14.335 percent from last weeks 13.803%, while the yield on the 182-day bill was up 13.716% compared to last week’s 13.164%
Central Bank of Kenya had offered bills worth Ksh 12 Billion and received bids worth Ksh 21.7 Billion .The CBK then accepted bids worth Ksh 17.2 Billion shillings but did not sell all the 364-day paper on offer.
The weighted average yield on Kenya’s 91-day Treasury bill edged up to 11.434 percent at auction on Thursday from 11.398 percent the previous week, the central bank said.
The bank offered paper worth 4.0 billion shillings and received bids worth 7.7 billion shillings. It accepted bids worth 4.7 billion shillings.
