Vivo Energy Kenya has appointed Mr Peter Murungi as the new Managing Director. This follows the resigation of Mr Joe Muganda who took over from Polycarp Igathe in 2017.
Peter Murungi’s appointment will be effective from December 1st 2019.
Mr Peter Murungi has worked for Vivo for the past 12 years in various capacities. He had recently led Vivo Group’s implementation on a new Enterprise Resource Planning System.
Vivo plc is a petroleum company with its headquarters in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. It maintains subsidiaries and operations in 16 countries across Africa that encompass the supply, storage, distribution, and retail of a range of petroleum products.
Vivo is a Royal Dutch Shell licensee and operates in retail of Shell branded commercial fuels, liquefied petroleum gas and lubricants. It is also listed on the London Stock Exchange.
