Vikas Mehta, who until now was the CEO of Mullen Lintas, is set to replace Mathieu Plassard as the Ogilvy Africa CEO following Mathieu’s departure from Kenya to pursue the next chapter of his career within Ogilvy.
Ogilvy, in a statement, said that Mathieu, who joined the firm in 2014, has been at the forefront in ensuring the firm remains at the top of creative effective brand work charts, which in turn earned them four Cannes Lions in addition to other celebrated awards.

Vikas Mehta takes over the new role as from 1st December, having previously worked in the creative industry in India with a career track record within Interpublic Group (IPG) for 15 years in various leadership roles across Asia-Pacific markets, including Singapore and Vietnam.
Ogilvy is a New York City-based British advertising, marketing, and public relations agency. It is now part of the WPP Group, one of the largest advertising and public relations companies in the world.
