SAP SE is being investigated by the US authorities for allegedly engaging in graft by liasing with its services partner, Twenty Third Century Systems, to improperly win state contracts in Kenya and Tanzania, Bloomberg reports.
This corruption alleged to the German-based software firm relate to deals in 2014 and 2015.

Besides the East African scandal, the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is also investigating SAP following its dealings with South Africa’s Gupta family’s companies.
This comes after SAP said it paid $9.2 million to the Gupta family’s firms, which has been on the limelight for its numerous corruption-related cases.
