    Uganda Airlines to Launch Flights into Mombasa

    Uganda Airlines to Launch Flights into Mombasa

    Uganda Airlines will officially start flights into Mombasa’s Moi International Airport. Ugandan Consul General Mr Katureeba Tayebwa announced that the inaugural touchdown will be in November 11th.

    He stated that the new service will be a relief to the Ugandan Traders who use the Mombasa port to import and export cargo. It will also be a tourism opportunity for both countries. The Flight will be about one hour and 50 minutes

    Ugandan airlines are also planning on adding flights to the following routes; Democratic Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Ghana and South Africa.

    The airline stated that they have introduced promotional fares on the Entebbe-Mombasa route with flights on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Ugandan Airlines Sales Manager for Kenya, Lenny Malasi are keen on making a mark in the Kenyan market.

    Uganda is one of the top tourist attractions from Africa and the Mombasa flights are expected to boost the numbers.
