Loss-making retailer Uchumi Supermarkets has announced the appointment of Mr Beiju Shah and Mr Fred Rabongo as the independent Non-Executive directors of the company.
In a public announcement, Mr John Karanim the group Chairman said that the two new directors are expected to steer the company’s growth with their respective expertise and experiences.
Mr Baiju is a technology and financial systems expert with vast experience in the retail, technology and business sectors.
Mr Rabongo, on the other hand is a corporate business strategist and an astute businessman with a background in advertising,marketing , outsourcing and business development.
