The Sh400 million Tuskys’ Gigantic Sale Grand Finale will kickstart early tomorrow morning, 30 August, in Nairobi, Kisumu, Eldoret, and Juja retail outlets. The five stores will be open from 6:30 am till late compared to normal days when business starts at 8:30 am. The extended hours will give “bargain hunters a convenient shopping experience.”
“Non 24 hours branches in Kenya have always opened their doors at 8:30 am. Tomorrow, we [shall] break this tradition at all the branches hosting the Tuskys Gigantic Sale Grand Finale by opening the doors as early as 6:30 am,” Tuskys CEO Dan Githua said.
“The customer reward campaign in Nairobi, Juja, Eldoret and Kisumu will act as the final leg for the ongoing Tuskys Gigantic Sale, with attractive discounts of up to 50 per cent on a range of retails products,” he added.
The Grand Finale Sale will take place at Tuskys T-mall and Tuskys Greenspan in Nairobi, Tuskys United in Kisumu, Tuskys Juja and Tuskys Eldo Centre in Eldoret. In Tuskys T-Mall, the retailer has secured additional space for the sale at the Moi Educational Centre and PCEA Nairobi West.
The Grand Finale sale will feature “400 sofa sets, 800 dining table sets, 1000 entry level and 600 premium Television sets, 100 washing machines, 1500 microwaves, 500 Refrigerators and 400 cookers at up to 50 per cent discounts.” These items have been supplied by local and international companies. Suppliers such as Samsung, Dettol, Beko, Kabras Sugar, Tefal, Dawaat have supported the Gigantic Sale for the past seven weeks.
The Tuskys Gigantic Sale Performance
During the Gigantic Sale, Tuskys sold over 550 units of BEKO cooker in six weeks making it the top seller in home appliances. Other top items that have been sold during this promotion include the Ramtons microwave grill, LG full smart 55’’ which has sold 500 units, and LG smart 43.”
“We continue to lead on washing machines commanding 70 per cent of the Kenyan market with premium LG 7kg and 8kg washing machines all going off at 18 per cent and 31 per cent discounts respectively,” Tuskys says in a statement.
The leading stores in terms of performance during this sale include Tuskys United Kisumu, Tuskys T-Mall, Tuskys Imara, Tuskys Greenspan, Tuskys Midtown Nakuru and Tuskys Juja Mall in that order.
