Integrated oil and gas company Total has appointed former Total Nigeria General Manager Operations, Mr Olagoke Aluko to take over as the Company’s Managing Director of the Kenyan business, effective October 1.
This follows the resignation of Mr Jerome Burban and Anne Solange Renouard as a Director and Managing Director of the company respectively effective the 1st of October.
Anne Solange Renouard has been at the helm of the company since 2015 as Managing Director & Executive Director, a position she held until her resignation. She previously occupied the position of Chairman of Petroleum Institute of East Africa and Managing Director at Total Mauritius Ltd.
While Mr Jerome Burban has been with the company since 2002 and was appointed to the board as a Non-Executive Director in 2016 a position he held until his resignation.
Ms Severine Julien has also been appointed to the board to replace Mr Jerome Burban as a Director of the company.
The news comes less than a month after Total Kenya appointed the Managing Director and Director of TOTAL Nigeria Jean Philippe Torres to chair its Kenyan Board effective 5th of September, after the resignation of former chair Jean-Christian Bergeron from the board and consequently ceasing to be chair of the company earlier in the year.
