Tiktok releases All-in-One Platform for Music Creators

TikTok has released SoundOn, an all-in-one platform for music creators that allows artists to upload their music directly to the App and to distribute it to various music streaming services.

According to ByteDance, the App’s parent company, no hidden transaction fee or subscription fee will be charged.

With SoundOn, artists will distribute their music to the App’s in-house partners, such as TikTok and Resso, and global streaming platforms such as Apple Music, Deezer, Joox, Pandora, and Spotify.

They would view the list of platforms and choose which stores they’d like to distribute to when distributing music on the website.

    Tiktok offer to users

End-users will also obtain 100 per cent royalty for an unlimited time for In-Bytedance platforms (TikTok and Resso).

They would be able to receive 100 per cent royalty for off-Bytedance platforms during the first year and 90 per cent in the years after.

By distributing with SoundOn, they get to retain all rights and royalties, meaning they’ll own their masters and receive 100 per cent royalties from all DSPs.

By signing with SoundOn, end-users release music to the App and CapCut worldwide and Resso in Brazil, Indonesia, and India.

They can also distribute to global platforms to make their music available to all primary digital streaming services worldwide.
