The predictions for the FIFA World Cup 2022 are here

This year, it is time for the FIFA World Cup. It is scheduled to take place in Qatar from 21 November to 18 December 2022, and people have already come up with their predictions on who will win. Gamblers across the globe are ready to start betting once the cup is getting closer.

    Gambling in Kenya

More and more people are gambling in the world today. It has gotten very popular lately, and we predict that a whole lot will be wagered during the World Cup. Kenya is no exception. It is popular to bet on sports and to play at the best online casinos as a form of entertainment. When betting on sports, you have the opportunity to try and guess what will happen during different sports events, such as the FIFA cup, and to earn from your bets, if they are the correct ones. In Kenya, it is the Government that regulates gambling activities through the Betting, Lotteries, and Gaming Act as the primary legislation.

    World Cup favorites

The location of the 22nd world cup has led to some discussions, but it is still Qatar that will host this year’s cup. Here we have 32 teams competing against each other for the last time, as it is scheduled to include 48 teams in the 2026 edition of the cup. This is also the first one to be held in the Arab world, and Qatar currently sees the odds to win in its home country at 150/1.

This year’s favorite to win is Brazil with the odds 11/2 and is followed by France. They are the defending champions, and also performed well during the Euro 2020. France’s odds are set to 6/1. On the list of favorites, there is a large European presence, including Italy, England, and Portugal with Cristiano and his new partnership, to mention a few. Brazil and Argentina are the only two non-European countries that are currently fighting for their spot on the list.

We are all excited to follow the cup this fall and winter. While there have been discussions regarding the host country, and it is placed later in the year than usual, this could be one of the greatest world cups of all time. It is all up to the teams and how well they perform, and the betting skills of the people interested.
