    Radisson Blu Group of hotels opens first branch in Upper Hill, Nairobi

    Radisson Blu Group of Hotels has opened up its first branch in the Upper Hill Area of Nairobi.Radisson Group is an international hotel company with more than 990 locations in 73 countries. The first Radisson Hotel was built in 1909 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, US. It is named after the 17th-century French explorer Pierre-Esprit Radisson.Rezidor Hotel Group is licensed its brand for Radisson SAS hotels and is listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.

    The Nairobi hotel has about 271 spacious designer guest rooms and suits. Guests visiting the hotel have a choice of three contemporary room designs. from the Urban Room style to the New York Mansion design and the naturally cool themes casting majestic views of Nairobi’s sky line. The guest rooms include 13 suites,and a Presidential Suite with access to the Business Class Lounge.Radisson Blu offers four food and drink outlets;radds larder.jpg

    It has day dining restaurant that offers local and international foods with an African twist. With a distinctive ambiance, this restaurant creates a sense of intimacy, complimented by low lighting and warm candle light. It offers slow-roasted local meats among other delicacies.

    They also have an African cuisine restaurant offering both private and communal dining. Here, you get to enjoy starters served on planchas with grilled vegetables and cured meats and you can also find delicious barbecued meats.

    The hotel also has ideal conference facilities with fourteen meeting rooms, free high-speed wireless internet, and the latest audio-visual technology, not forgetting the 590 square-meter ball room suitable for galas or other large group events.rads.jpg
