Kenyan startups are among 50 other African firms that have qualified for the MEST Africa Challenge’s Ksh5 million equity investment and an opportunity to join its incubator community.
They include Baobab Circle, Raise, Tulaa, Mosabi, Asaak Financial Services, Optimetriks, Eko Biashara, Tambua Intelligent Diagnostics, Angaza Elimu and Dawati.
The startups have been chosen to compete in regional finals in Accra, Nairobi, Lagos, Cape Town and Abidjan on February 27 and 28 where five will be chosen.
The chosen teams will be flown to the MEST Africa Summit in Nairobi in June, where they will pitch on stage for the grand deal.
