The HF Group Plc recently appointed Dr. Dorcas Muthoni as a non-executive director to the board of HFC, a subsidiary of the HF Group. Her appointment took effect on 26th May 2020. Dr Dorcas is a renowned technopreneur who runs a software consulting company, OPENWORLD LTD, that provides technology solutions to governments and businesses in East Africa.
She has more than 20 years of experience in providing technological solutions to businesses in Africa and beyond. In 2004, Dorcas founded AfChix, a technical capacity building initiative for women in Africa.
Dr Dorcas has been recognized by the Internet Society and World Economic Forum for her leadership in the tech space.
She holds a Bachelor degree in Computer Science from the University of Nairobi.
