Stanbic Bank Kenya Limited has changed its tag and appointed athlete Brigid Kosgey as its new brand ambassador as the lender seeks to make its products and services more appealing.

    Stanbic Bank Kenya new tagline

“Stanbic Kenya will no longer be ‘Moving Forward’ but has adopted a new tag ‘ It Can Be’ as the lender embarks on a journey that will see its products and services resonating to the people’s way of life,” said Stanbic Bank Kenya CEO Charles Mudiwa.

The lender is setting out on a new path and bringing its customers with it. From a simple village girl to a World record holder and Kenyan hero Brigid Kosgei will be the face of #ItCanBe, Stanbic’s newly found path.

Stanbic Bank Kenya (SBK) Limited is a corporate and retail bank licensed by the Central Bank of Kenya to provide banking services in Kenya.

The lender is part of the Standard Bank Group, a leading African financial services organisation, founded 150 years ago. It today has operations in 20 African countries and across the globe. Stanbic Bank Kenya Limited (as part of Stanbic Holdings Plc) is listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE).

The lender posted a net profit of KSh3.6 billion in Q3, 2020, as the pandemic made it challenging for customers to service the facilities.

Stanbic Bank restructured loans, issued moratoriums to 23% of its loan book and made huge provisions, dampening its profits.
