Eng. Silas Kinoti has been confirmed as the Director-General/CEO of Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) effective 18th June 2020.
Eng. Kinoti has been KURA’s director-general in an acting capacity since September 2015. He has overseen many key road projects across Kenya in his 20 years of practicing engineering in the public sector.
He holds a Masters in Business Administration Degree (Corporate Management) from KCA University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Nairobi. Further, Eng. Kinoti is registered under the Engineers Board of Kenya and is a corporate member of the Institute of Engineers of Kenya (IEK).

I wish to congratulate Eng. Kinoti on his appointment. We are confident that his skills and wealth of experience will drive KURA forward.
Eng. Kinoti joined KURA in 2009 as manager (Roads) and was later promoted to General Manager (Planning and Environment), prior to appointment as Director-General in an acting capacity in September 2015.
