    SIB to offer alternative investment options to investors

    Nairobi based Standard Investment Bank (SIB) has announced that it will be offering investors in the region alternative investment options outside the NSE. The multi-asset strategy fund dubbed Mansa-X will offer regional investors access to a wide variety of global investments products such as gold, oil, gas and foreign currencies.

    According to SIB Executive Director, Nahashon Mungai, the bank has recognised a lot of interest in global markets from both retail and high net worth investors.

    SIB targets to expand its product range to other target investors in Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and South Sudan. The firm has already employed agents in Uganda and Tanzania with a minimum investment for retail investors at a low of ksh 10,000 and ksh 250,000 for high net worth investors.
