Kenya’s Senate committee scrutinizing Kenya Airways has set out very tough conditions that the Airline must implement in order for them to approve a bailout.The airline needs billions of shillings though Ksh 4 Billion had been approve to help it in running the day to day activities.
Senates Conditions
Some of the conditions are listed below:
- Sacking of top managers of the airline if they are to get bailout from the Government.
- Shareholders to fund the airline via a rights issue or sale of stake to new investors.
- Restructuring and putting into place a management team with sufficient skills and experience in the aviation industry and with an ability to turn around and build the company.
