Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, is looking to make Kenya its regional export hub, the company’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jean-Pascal Tricoire has said.
The company already runs a very big factory in Kenya in addition to its Nairobi office which serves as its East African Head Quarters. The Kenyan factory employs over 250 people.
While addressing the media last week, Schneider Electric in partnership with the Salesian Don Bosco Foundation in Kenya signed a partnership to provide technical and vocational training to the youth on the new world of energy.
