Safaricom has reduced the prices of their fourth-generation (4G) Wi-Fi routers of the Adrian and Huawei series by up to 40 per cent, aiming to increase the adoption of their home internet product.
The telco has made a public announcement stating that the Huawei router will now be priced at KES 6,999, which is a reduction from its original price of KES 10,999.
Similarly, the Adrian router will now be sold at KES 5,999, down from its previous price of KES 9,999.
According to the NSE-listed company, clients have the option to either apply for their preferred router online, make remote payment, and have it delivered to their homes for installation, or they can visit the telco’s stores and purchase one in person.
