Safaricom customers will be able to insure their household items in a partnership with Jubilee Insurance if they partake its new Home Fibre Plus product.
The product will combine mobile voice, mobile data, SMS and Home Fibre in one package. It comes at a time consumer preferences are shifting to a single solution that meets all their communication needs both at home and on the go, says Sylvia Mulinge, Safaricom’s Chief Customer Officer.
“With increasingly digital lifestyles, the needs of our customers have continued to evolve, hence our latest all-in-one offering that seeks to cater to their communication demands both in and out of the home,” she said.
The customers will not be required to compile an inventory of their household goods to benefit from the policy.
“Our partnership with Jubilee to offer a simplified and affordable home insurance package is a further boost in meeting this need,” added Ms Mulinge.
Home Fibre Plus customers can pick their preferred home insurance plans by dialling *400# and select the “Home Insurance” option under “Manage your subscriptions”.
