Safaricom Opens 46th Retail Store in Kitale

Safaricom has opened the newly refurbished shop in Kitale town as it seeks to expand its regional presence and enhance customer experience.

Located at Yes Plaza, the shop will offer residents of Kitale and the larger Trans Nzoia County access to all Safaricom services, including a wide range of 3G and 4G devices.

The reopening of the retail outlet which has been in existence for the last nine years will enable Safaricom to serve more customers, offer services at a more customer friendly environment and respond to customer queries from the grassroots much faster, without having to travel to Nairobi or other neighboring towns to seek basic services.

“This new shop will act as a hub for residents of Kitale and its environs, enabling customers to get the best of what we offer. Customers can now enjoy a wide range of our products and services some of which are on offer in the ongoing Mambo Ni Digital campaign. Our aim is to continue expanding our network through the roll out of new sites as we increase customer delivery channels,” said James Maitai, Head of Regional Sales, Rift valley Region.

To complement its service delivery in the shops, Safaricom has also put up customer care desks in various parts of Rift region and other parts of the country to enable customer to have access to quick services, a move that is expected to reduce customer foot fall in the shops.

Safaricom has so far opened 46 shops countrywide in a bid to expand its services to the regions allowing customers to access and enjoy services from wherever they are across the country.
