Rwanda’s flag carrier, RwandAir has suspended flights to and from Entebbe International Airport in Uganda, citing an increase in Covid-19 numbers in Uganda.
According to the airline, the suspension took effect on 10th June 2021, until further notice. Furthermore, it adds that those affected by the suspension can either rebook and fly at a later date, once flights resume, at no additional cost, or ask for a refund.
In February this year, the airline also temporarily suspended flights to South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Zambia, citing the new COVID-19 variants reported in the three countries. The suspension took effect on 8th February 2021.
