Popular Rwandese pastry chain Brioche is opening up its second Kenyan outlet in Nairobi’s Westlands area, inside the popular events venue, The Alchemist.
Brioche which operates a chain of pastries and bakeries in Rwanda first entered the Kenyan in May 2016 saying it was aiming to cater for the growing market for pretzels, swiss rolls, wraps, baguettes, croissants, doughnuts, ciabatta, crumpets and other pastries.
The eatery was started by Jean-Philippe Kayobotsi, who was once an adviser to the president of Rwanda, Paul Kagame. He has also worked for Deloitte and the African Development Bank.
