Petrol and Diesel Prices dropped by KSh 1.09 and KSh 2.83 per litre respectively for the month that runs from 15th December 2019 to 14th January 2020. Additionally, Kerosene prices fell by KSh 1.75. The prices follow a downward trend in the prices of petrol and diesel in Kenya in the past few months.
The new prices are as a result of dropping prices of oil imports. Super petrol prices fell by 0.52% in November from $463.24 per cubic meter in October to $460.83 in November. Furthermore, Diesel prices fell by 3.36% to $485.29 whereas Kerosene fell by 3.75% to $481.11 in November.
Pump Prices in Major Towns.
According to an EPRA press release, maximum pump prices for Mombasa stand at KSh 107.45 for Petrol and KSh 99.74 for Diesel. On the other hand, maximum pump prices in Nairobi stand at KSh 109.50 and KSh 101.78 for Diesel. Mombasa will buy Kerosene at a maximum price of KSh 100.26 while Nairobi will purchase the same at KSh 102.31.

Petrol in Kisumu will retail at a maximum price of 109.90 whereas Diesel will sell at KSh 102.38. Kerosene will retail at KSh 102.91.
Eldoret will buy Petrol and diesel at KSh 109.90 and KSh 102.39 respectively. On the other hand, pump prices in Nakuru stand at KSh 109.10 for petrol while diesel will sell at 101.58. Eldoret and Nakuru will buy Kerosene at KSh 102.91 and KSh 102.11 respectively.
