    Ory Okolloh Resigns from Stanbic Board WEF 9th Dec

    Stanbic Holdings Plc’s Board of Directors has announced the resignation of Ms. Ory Okolloh as an independent non-executive director, with effect from 9th December 2020.

    However, Ory Okolloh remains the Chair of the Board of Stanbic Kenya Foundation, where she is responsible for leading the Foundation’s strategic direction and oversight. The Foundation has a mandate of catalyzing inclusive Social Economic growth and promoting Environmental/Climate awareness as avenues to create sustainable businesses in Kenya and South Sudan economies in line with the Sustainable Development Goals.

    Additionally, she serves on several organizations, including the Thomson Reuters Founders Share Company and Harvard University’s Centre for African Studies.

    Ms. Okolloh holds a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Harvard Law School.
