Olea Insurance Solutions has marked its entry into the East African Market through the buying of 40% stake in Koolridge Insurance Brokers.
Olea, a PanAfrican firm present in 36 African countries, said the partnership was crucial because Kenya’s Mombasa Port is a crucial import-export corridor for countries in the East African Region.
With the new partnership, Koolridge Kenya Insurance Brokers consequently changes its name to OLEA Kenya Insurance Brokers.
Olea, which serves French business international accounts in Africa also represents a number of international broking houses. OLEA Group says its also pursuing partnership deals with Chinese and Asian dealers, which will enable them to locally represent multinationals working across the region.
