    Turnover at NSE rises to KSh 121.7 Million

    Turnover at the Nairobi Securities Exchange(NSE) climbed to KSh 121.74 Million compared to KSh 87.5 Million traded on Thursday 15th October, 2020.

    This was on a volume of 4.41 Million shares in 751 deals.

    The top price gainer was Bank of Kigali whose share price rose 5.365 to KSh 13.75 followed by Liberty Kenya Holdings which gained 5.26% to KSh 8.00, KenGen share price increased 4.40% to KSh 5.22, BAT was up 3,87% to KSh 349.00, and TPS Serena who share price climbed 2.39% to KSh 15.00.

    The losers were led by Flame Tree Group Holdings, which declined 9.09% to KSh 1.30, followed by Home Afrika, which fell 9.09% to KSh 0.40, HFCK, which declined 7.16% to KSh 3.63, Olympia Capital fell 6.96% to KSh 2.14, and Kapchorua Tea declined 6.835 to KSh 75.00.

    Safaricom was the top mover with 2.4 Million shares followed to I&M Holdings(501,300), KPLC(415,400), Equity Group(291,000) and KCB(125,700).

    The benchmark NSE All Share Index (NASI) declined 0.09 points to close at 139.65.

    The NSE 20 Share Index gained 0.91 points to close at 1814.17. The NSE 25 Share Index gained 2.20 points to close at 3220.54
