    NSE Kenya extends CEO Odundo's term for next four years

    Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) has extended the tenure of its Chief Executive Officer Geoffrey Odundo by another four years effective March 1 2019.

    “Mr. Odundo, will continue to oversee the implementation of the Company’s strategy, especially as it transitions into a new strategic plan period from 2020.” the self-listed NSE said in a notice to market participants.

    Prior to his appointment as CEO of the exchange in January 2015, Mr Odundo was the CEO of Kingdom Securities. He is an accomplished investment banker with 22 years financial sector experience having been in the capital markets in various senior roles in asset management, corporate and stock broking.

    Additionally, the exchange has made changes to its senior management team, saying this is in line with the revised organizational structure. The following Senior Management appointments have been made, with effect from March 1, 2019:
