The Nairobi Securities Exchange(NSE) has launched a premium digital learning platform called the NSE Digital Academy.
The NSE Digital Academy will offer online classes to help investors learn more about the market, how it works, and how to build wealth from stock, debt, real estate investment trusts, derivatives and exchange-traded funds.
The digital academy has an automated Learning Management System (LMS)-used for virtual training and certification as well as a trading simulator.
The NSE digital academy offers basic and advanced investment training in finance, investments, securities trading technology and corporate governance, among others, to users.
The platform aims at offering participants the opportunity to have a virtual trading experience. The trading simulator allows users to invest and build portfolios using real-time stock price information obtained through the ATS.
The bourse will also provide Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points for all the training undertaken. The Nairobi bourse is an accredited Continuous Professional Development provider together with Capital Market Authority (CMA) as well as Chartered Institute for Securities &Investment (CISI) and the Institute of Chartered Investment and Financial Analysts.
