    NSE Appoints Mbithe Muema as New Chief Business Officer

    The Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) has appointed Ms Mbithe Muema as its new Chief Business Officer, replacing Terrence Adembesa who exited to take on a new role as CEO of the East African Bond Exchange.

    Ms Mbithe Muema has previously served as an investor relations manager at Stanbic bank and handled institutional sales at Africa Alliance Investment Bank.

    She holds an MBA from Strathmore Business School, and is also a Finance and Markets graduate from Renaissance Academy, Russia.

    Her appointment took effect on Monday, 4th April 2022.

    The Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) is a leading African Exchange, based in Kenya. Founded in 1954, NSE has a six decade heritage in listing equity and debt securities. It offers a world class trading facility for local and international investors looking to gain exposure to Kenya and Africa’s economic growth.

    NSE operates under the jurisdiction of the Capital Markets Authority of Kenya.
