Kenya Daily Stock Market Commentary- 28 June 2016
All the Nairobi Securities Exchange indices pointed south with NSE 20 Share Index dipping 1.19% to close at a new 4 Year Low of 3662.15 points from Friday’s 3706.44 points.
The key index was dragged by Diamond Trust Bank, Centum and ARM who declined by 8.00%, 3.93% and 2.34% respectively leading 14 companies on the average lower.
Foreign investors accounted for 72.83% of the day’s traded with a net outflow. Market Cap was down by 1.02% to stand at KES 1.999Trillion from friday’s KES 2.014Trillion.
NIC bank and I&M Holdings were the only gainers in the Banking Sector as the Index shrunk by 1.08%. 7.
Safaricom was down fifteen cents to Kes.17.30 moved 4.8Million shares.
