The Board of Nation Media Group (NMG) Plc has appointed Stephen Dunbar-Johnson to the Board of Directors effective April 13, 2018.
Dunbar-Johnson is the president of international at the New York Times Company and oversees the strategic development of the company’s international digital and print business. He was formerly the publisher of the international Herald Tribune.
Dubar-Johnson went to Worth School and Kent University in the United Kingdom. He holds an MBA in executive management from Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and is involved in the Sulzberger program at the Columbia School of Journalism.
NMG has also appointed Alex Kobia as the managing director of the broadcast division, Rashmi Chugh as the group head of digital, Francis Munywoki as the managing director of the newspaper division, Emma Ngutu as the marketing manager, Dorine Ogolo as the procurement manager, and James Sogoti as the general manager commercial.
