Nation Media Group (NMG) has appointed Philbert Mdindi as its new Head of Marketing, with effect from 16th May 2022.
Prior to his appointment, Philbert worked at Absa Bank Kenya PLC as a Marketing Manager, Brand and Citizenship. He has also previously worked with Barclays Bank as the Marketing Manager, and with Safaricom Limited as Brand Manager.
Philbert holds a Masters of Business Administration (Marketing Major and minor in Strategic Management) from the University of Nairobi, Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry.
At NMG, Philbert Mdindi is now tasked with driving the Group’s strategic marketing from an offline existence to digital products, digital content, digital brands, and digital native customers, while ensuring sustainability of existing brands.
