FoundersBoost, the global startup pre-accelerator, has announced the nine Kenyan startups that will be joining this year’s fall program. The FoundersBoost program runs for 6 weeks and is highly mentor-driven. The program is designed to help pre-seed/seed stage startup companies achieve Acceleration, Investment and/or Revenue (AIR). The program runs like a lean accelerator and takes no equity or fees from startups in the program.
The Kenyan startups selected for the program are:
Afrigility – a warehousing and logistics marketplace platform that allows warehouse owners to list their spaces or services and matches them with brands looking for flexible storage and fulfilment services. The platform also allows end customers to track their inventory and manage orders in real-time.
Agrvision – provides end-to-end digitalize advanced solutions to the agriculture and forestry market. Agrvision solutions leverage cutting-edge Ai/ML to analyze big agri data collected and provide highly precise information about fields, crops and forests. These insights are visual, simple to understand pieces of information that can be used to guide action that makes working in agriculture and forestry easier and saves precious time and resources
Eenovators – an Energy Consulting firm that is dedicated to offering innovative and reliable energy efficiency solutions.
Hisa Inc – a crowdsourced investing platform that makes financial markets social. Hisa enables users to buy fractions of Kenyan stocks and US Securities while allowing users to follow other investors as they discuss wealth and investments.
Kuungana Technologies – a social organization raising financial management awareness among small and medium enterprises through technology.
Neural Labs Africa – a medical technology Company Using AI, a revolutionary technology, to democratize access to diagnostic healthcare.
OHospital – a startup connecting underserved markets with healthcare and financial services.
Plastic Soko – an online portal that rewards users for recycling.
Turn App – an online events discovery platform curating different world experiences.
The FoundersBoost Kenya Program is championed and managed by MBM Africa. MBM Africa is a business development, design, and innovation strategy firm helping African Founders around the world navigate the fundamentals of entrepreneurship.
FoundersBoost is this year running 10 programs in Washington DC, Los Angeles, Denver, Vancouver, UK, Italy, Netherlands, Italy, Zambia and the location-agnostic Autism program.
