Nigerian Logistics Firms Launches Kenyan Operations

Nigerian based Logistics and Distribution Services Company, Courierplus  has launched its services in Nairobi, Kenya.

The company serves a number of clients mainly in sectors such as Banking and Financial Service, Manufacturing, Telecommunications, Government/Parastatals, Tea industry & Apparel industries.

In his opening remarks, Courierplus Africa President Mr. Tokunbo Talabi noted “As a Pan African company both in ownership and perspective, we have a global growth vision. Courierplus understands that most countries are predominantly net importers and as such we endeavor to offer solutions to importers from various parts of the continent. As most African economies focus on growth, there are tremendous opportunities for export especially for SMEs, we have on offer specialized services to manage their export requirements.”

Additionally, Maureen Kolenyo, Courierplus East & Central Africa, Regional Head said “Opening offices in Nairobi Kenya is quite strategic; Kenya is indeed the economic trade hub for the East and Central Africa region. Logistically, Kenya has direct flights to all the countries in East and Central Africa; therefore, setting up office in Nairobi will allow us to offer superior services to our customers across the region.”

Courierplus has a vision of establishing its foot print all over Africa and has started this feat with the East African segment with Kenya taking the lead. Courierplus future plan is to be fully represented across Africa (East, Central, Southern and Western Africa) and then key markets in Middle East and Asia.
