    NCBA Merges Investment Banking Units

    NCBA Group has issued a public notice of the commencement of the business amalgamation process of its two investment entities, NIC Capital Limited, CBA Capital and the securities brokerage subsidiary, NIC Securities Limited.

    Upon the completion of the amalgamation process of the three companies, both the merged entities investment banking business and the securities brokerage business will be conducted by NIC Capital Limited and all the customers affected by the change will be notified.

    The amalgamated entity will continue providing its full range of investment banking and securities brokerage products and services.

    The Group says the amalgamated entity will be strategically positioned to become a significant player in the Kenya Capital Markets as it will benefit from the synergies from the three entities.
