The National Oil Corporation has announced Mr George Kubai is the new Chief Executive Officer to replace Mr James Nyamongo, who has been in an acting capacity for about a week.
Mr George Kubai was the former general manager of Downstream Operations at the company. He was appointed by the Cabinet Secretary for Petroleum and Mining.
The appointment of Mr George Kubai cames after Ms Jane Mwangi announced during a board meeting that she would not be renewing her contract as the CEO of the company.
