mSurvey, a mobile survey platform based in Kenya, has secured $3.5 million in Series A round of funding to help it in expanding to more African countries.
The funding was led by TLcom Capital, a venture capital firm focused on Africa. Additional investments came from Kapor Capital, Social Capital, Golden Palm, and Richard Owen, the founding team of Net Promoter Score (NPS). This funding follows seed investments from Alpha Angels, Cross Culture Ventures, and Spark Venture Fund by Safaricom.
mSurvey has its headquarters in Nairobi and it recently opened an office in Lagos.
