The Board of directors of British American Tobacco has announced the resignation of the current Managing Director, Mr Keith Gretton effective from May 1 2017. Mr Keith has served the British American Tobacco Group for 29 years.
The incoming Managing Director Mrs Beverley Spencer-Obatoyinbo will be taking the helm at BAT Kenya Plc from 2 May 2017. She recently held the position of BAT Area Director Swiss Cluster based in Switzerland. She has previously held senior roles in BAT Group including Marketing Director BAT Nigeria, General Manager BAT Egypt, Area Director BAT West Africa and Head of Human Resources for BAT East Europe, Africa and Middle East Region.
BAT Kenya was last spotted trading at Ksh 895/share on March 6.
