Dr Moses Ikiara, the current Managing Director of Kenya Investment Authority has been appointed as an independent non executive director of Centum Investments.
The Nairobi Securities Exchange listed firm says Dr Ikiara was appointed to fill in a casual vacancy following a meeting held by its board of directors on November 24 2017.
Since February 2013, Moses Ikiara has served as the Managing Director of Kenya Investment Authority; a statutory body established in 2004 with the main objective of promoting investments in Kenya. It is responsible for facilitating the implementation of new investment projects, providing After Care services for new and existing investments, as well as organizing investment promotion activities both locally and internationally.
Previously, Dr Ikiara served as the executive Director of the Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA). Before then, he was a lecturer and a research fellow at the School of Environmental Studies, Moi University.
