    Equities Market

    The benchmark NSE-20 Share Index was down 44.35 points to close at 3,835.78 points. The All Share Index (NASI) was down by 0.94 points to close at 141.77 points. Turnover stood at KES 706.700 Mn. 1,598 deals were executed. A total of 18,316,600 shares were traded.

    Fixed Income Market

    The debt market had a turnover of KES 1.771Bn. 11 deals executed. The one year and two year bonds had a combined turnover of KES 1.046Bn which comprised of almost over 59% of turnover.

    Infrastructure bonds worth KES 600Mn were traded.

    91 Day T-Bill

    The 91 day T-Bill was up slightly to 11.434% from 11.398% in the previous week. CBK offered paper bills worth KES 4.0Bn and was oversubscribed receiving bids worth KES 7.7Bn. CBK accepted KES 4.7Bn.

    Shilling

    The Kenyan Shilling closed at 102.385 to the dollar.
