Little Shuttle Temporarily Suspends its Services

Little Shuttle Services has announced a temporary suspension on its services starting today. The shuttle-hailing service is once again off the road after it halted its operations in October 2019.

“We deeply regret to announce that the Little Shuttle service has been temporarily suspended effective immediately. We apologize profusely for the inconvenience but the service will be back with a bang very soon,” reads a tweet from the Little.

Little Shuttle left the market in October as a result of a directive from transport authorities. According to the regulator, the company did not have the proper license to operate point-to-point shuttle services.

However, according to Techweez, the services resumed in late October, under new terms. For instance, the service relaunched operating 7 seaters like Noahs, instead of buses and 14-seater Matatus.

Other players in the ride-hailing space also face trouble with the NTSA. SWVL, a Little Shuttle competitor suspended its operations in select routes owing to similar demands from the Transport Authority.
