Liquid Intelligent Technologies, one of the largest Pan-African technology groups, has announced that it will acquire Telrad, an Israeli-based technology company, for an undisclosed amount of money.
Liquid is a leading provider of Pan-African digital infrastructure with an extensive fibre broadband network covering over 100,000 km across sub-Saharan Africa.
Telrad provides high-quality technology products and services for global businesses and governments, including networking, data centres, cyber security, cloud infrastructure, information technology, geoinformatics and education.
The acquisition by Liquid Technologies will strengthen the firm’s B2B product segments and geographical reach, riding on Telrad’s presence in 13 countries South America, the Middle East, Asia, the United States, Eastern Europe and Asia.
This transaction will bring together Telrad’s differentiated technology solutions with Liquids’ unique, integrated digital infrastructure and services platform.
Telrad has superior technology solutions and extensive R&D capabilities, including two dedicated R&D centres that it will use to complement Liquids’ offerings and support its long-term growth strategy.
