KRA Takes Over Nairobi County Revenue Collection Till 2022

Kenya Revenue Authority will collect revenue on behalf of Nairobi County from March 16 2020 untill 2022, County finance executive has confirmed.

In a gazette notice issued on Friday, Allan Igambi said that Nairobi County appointed KRA as the principal agent for overall revenue collection for all county revenue, for a period of 24 months.

The move comes following transfer of some of the functions to the national government on February 25, 2020.
