Kenya Airways has expanded its codeshare agreement with Delta Airlines a move that will open seamless travel in the US and Canada.
KQ travelers in the US will enjoy more connectivity to Chicago, Texas, Colorado, Orland, Miami, Raleigh Durham and Charlotte in North Carolina, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Missouri.
Those in Canada will freely connect to Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Edmonton.
Kenya Airways Group CEO Sebastian Mikosz explained that the new arrangement is part of KQ commitment to their customers on the New York route allowing travelers access to more destinations
In 2018, KQ signed the agreement with Delta Airlines in a bid to enhance connectivity and give its customers a seamless one-stop travel experience from the United States of America.
This move was boosted by KQ’s launching of a direct flight from Nairobi to
to the John F. Kennedy Airport in New York.
Codeshare agreements combine flights with other partner airlines to create a single itinerary to multiple destinations, and it allows airlines to carry passengers whose tickets have been issued by another airline.
