National carrier Kenya Airways (KQ) and Saudi Arabian Airlines (SV), the national carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, have expanded their codeshare agreement to include the recently announced Mombasa-Dubai direct flights.
The code share extension will allow seamless connections on one ticket to and from the Saudi Arabian Airlines network, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, among other points in the Middle East, via Kenya Airways flights from Dubai to Mombasa.
KQ launched the Mombasa Dubai route in December 2022 and will be operating four times weekly on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from Mombasa.
This agreement with Saudi Arabia Airlines is expected to further boost the trade and tourism of the Kenyan Coast, with more guests from the Middle East expected to take advantage of these direct flights.
Saudi Arabian Airlines and Kenya Airways are members of the SkyTeam Alliance, enabling frequent flyers to earn and redeem miles on both airlines, while Elite Plus travellers benefit from the Sky Priority services.
